Peyak Pisim: One moon or one month.
Pisim: A month, may also mean the sun or the moon but in more specific terms.
Matakimaw: Referrring to the month means it is at the beginning of the month.
Poskopisim: During the month some time. The same month.
Mestakimaw: Referring to the month means it is at the end of the month.
I would ask the students these question during daily routine:
Kiko pisim mekwac akimaw?
They would respond?
Example: Kise Pisim mekwac akimaw or Ayiki Pisim mekwac akimaw.
