Opinawew Pisim – Egg Laying Moon May

Peyak Pisim: One moon or one month.

Pisim: A month, may also mean the sun or the moon but in more specific terms.

Matakimaw: Referrring to the month means it is at the beginning of the month.

Poskopisim: During the month some time. The same month.

Mestakimaw: Referring to the month means it is at the end of the month.

I would ask the students these question during daily routine:

Kiko pisim mekwac akimaw?

They would respond?

Example: Kise Pisim mekwac akimaw or Ayiki Pisim mekwac akimaw.
